Clapham Art Group to stage 71st exhibition

Barns - Margaret Blackburne

Works by some of this area’s most accomplished artists will be on display in Clapham Village Hall in late May as the local art group stages its 71st annual exhibition.

The exhibition will feature a stimulating mix of works in a variety of media by members of the Clapham Art Group, which includes artists from across North Craven.

Alongside some regular exhibitors there will be works by new members of the group.  The group promises that whether your taste is traditional or more modern there will be something of interest for all. Framed paintings and mounted work, together with sketches and cards will be on display and for sale.

The exhibition will take place over just five days this year, rather than the usual nine, from Saturday 25th May until Wednesday 29th May. It is open from 10am to 5pm daily and admission is 50 pence. Accompanied children are free. Homemade refreshments will be available in aid of St James’s Church.

An open Preview Evening will be held on Friday 24th May at 8pm.
